Insight into my Days!!

Every now and then my kids to something that is so naughty that I just have to laugh, OR I would be insane. So Just today I was getting the boys in the tub when Taige started dancing around and informed me he had to pee really bad (it has taken me 6 mo. to potty train them). I told him to hurry and run, but he gritted his teeth and said that his brother was in there. I said to run to the other one. He stopped and so seriously told me that he would just go outside. Completely dumb founded I just stared at him, and he proceeded to tell me that he likes to pee outside. Calmly, and trying not to laugh asked how he knew that he liked to do that. Without the slightest flinch he said, "cause I just barely did it, I peed out behind the sandbox. Teigun said it was OK!!" Still in shock I asked why he did it and he so honestly answered that it was better then peeing in his pants like a baby, and again he told me that Teigun said it was OK.

WOW who ever was driving by at that moment is sure wondering what kind of a mom I am. Really who would let their kid pee outside in the yard?!?!?

YOU ARE LOVED

I have had a opportunity this week to go through an experience with a friend that I never ever thought I would go through. To be honest I never thought about it at all. To be fair to her I don't want to go into any detail; except to say how grateful I am to her that she has shared it with me. For a minute every now and then we loose perspective, and with what I have learned through this experience I hope I never let it happen to me again.

I want all of you to know how much I love you, and how awesome it is that we have this blog (as dumb as it might be some times) to keep in touch and be able to share the sweet moments of our personal lives with each other. It is so fun to see pictures and share what is really most important to us. I love that as family, close friends, and even friends that we have lost touch with along the way can come together and reconnect. I am so grateful to know each of you and to be a part of your lives. Thanks for everything you do for me and each other.

Please remember everyday that someone loves you and needs you more than you may know. If you get that feeling that you need to call someone, or text them, or go see them DO IT. Letting your loved ones know how important they are to you is so much more important than cleaning the house, running errands, or doing laundry. Be grateful that you have friends to talk to, family to take care of, kids to worry about, sporting events to be to, dance class to drive to and crazy busy lives to live. Because this means you are loved and you have someone to love. XOXO

Spring Weather

YEAH!!! It was warm enough for the kids to really go out and play. They played outside for hours, they were really sad when I made them come in for dinner. We can't wait for summer!!

FridayNight GameNight

Teigun has decided that instead of date night, he heard that on TV, we should do game night on Friday night. His take was that date night sounds dumb and boring, but game night that would be fun. So we tried it out; we had a ball!! We played Skipbo and the fishing game. All was good until the fishing poles became swords and the night ended fairly quick at that point.

The Promised Pictures

I'm sorry to all of you that were so excited that I might blog again, but WOW I must be the dumbest person in the world. I have spent 30 mins. on the phone with my sister cause I just can't do this..."what, now what, now what should it say" that was most of the whole conversation. But I'm back and I think I get it. So here I am, trying to do better at this.

I will play catch-up from the holidays of 2007 first. This is the first part of Dec. The boys and I went with my parents to Vegas for Rykers baby blessing. It was so much fun, we went to bass pro shops everyday, the boys favorite, and we went to the strip once to see a water show. We had a ball, but my poor dad had to drive with me and the twins. He was very calm about everything, but I not sure he kept his hearing aids out for the trip. It got a little crazy at times and it took us 8 hrs to get home. It will be awhile till we get invited again!!

(Ok...I just got off the phone with Robyn, i swear I can't shouldn't be this hard. But I just can't get it right)
The weekend after we go home from Vegas we had our Woodward
Christmas Party. McKell, Brandon and Ryker came from Vegas, and Leslie and Ashtyn came form Heber. We all met in Midway to have breakfast at the Homestead. The food is so good and the we all love feeding the ducks. Teigun got a few of the ducks to eat bread right from his hand!! We have sooo much fun doing this!!!

Between This party and Christmas we did Bowling for Bucks. Always fun!! and a few other Christmas party's. But here's the running joke...Camille never has a camera.

Christmas day!!! The morning of opening up gifts was fun!! Then it was off the each of Grandma's houses. Teigun gave us all rides with his new four wheeler and slay. He pulled me and the boys, all of the cousins and Aunt Robyn!! He was even nice enough to share and let me and his aunts drive it around a little bit.

Catching Up

It's been a while...the holidays got crazy and over whelming. We had a lot of fun, but trying to get the 3 boys (ok 4 boys) anywhere on their best behavior (fair to party cloudy behavior sometimes) is a job all in itself. We had fun shopping to pick out gifts, the kids really got into it. And yes, they wanted one of everything for themselves too. But all the parties were great and the kids are still talking about some of them. Christmas day was the best!!! The boys really got it this year. They were so excited about everything, they really ripped into each gift. Tyson got so excited a few times he was shaking!! It was so cute.

As for News Years, well, lets just say we didn't ring it in. I was dead asleep by 10:30, Russ shortly after...but thanks to Teigun we saw a few minutes after 12am. He needed me to turn back on the TV cause his sleep timer went off and his show wasn't over. We can always count on him!!

Ok, Now I am trying to add some pictures but I keep getting an error report so they will be here in days to come. I will try my best to keep up this year, LOL. I did say TRY!!

Ryker

This is baby Ryker, my newest nephew. He is 8lbs. 9 oz. and 21in. WOW is he big. I can't wait to see him, this picture is from my dad's camera phone. McKell had a super hard and long labor, and after 18hrs and 20 min she ended up having a C-Section. Everyone is doing well!!!!
